This year has definitely been incredibly stressful... and not just in terms of academics! It's the year where we all realize that high school is more than halfway over, and suddenly people are starting to realize and... act, I guess?
But anyway, friends are still friends, and we're always together through the ups-and-downs of life. :]
Anyway, just a random thought I had today: the economy! :O
I don't actually know, like, ANYTHING, about the economy-- I just know it sucks right now. :(
So I started thinking about our future... two things could happen:
1) the economy KEEPS sinking and we head into an even worse Great Depression and when it's time for us to graduate from college and find jobs, there won't be any jobs available.
2) the economy HEALS ITSELF just in time for when we graduate from college and look for jobs. By then the economy will be steadily rising again, and we'll reap the benefits!
Yeah.. that was a really random thought. But we were talking about something similar in history (haha FUN CLASS, yea Felicia? :p), and Mr. Brown kind of scared me with how bad the economy was (because I wasn't aware at first). But then in the lecture, we covered the "Roaring Twenties" during which unemployment was like less than 3% (whereas now it's at like 60% or something?) and I was thinking of how nice times must have been during that time. Sunrise after a dark dark night.
LOL okay now I must go finish my essay. Bye! :]

On a side note... I can't WAIT for winter retreat! (too bad it clashes with your snow retreat Ben :( ... and please come Lily!)
